Storytelling - The Fox and the Hen

Brief:
Storytelling and books were once the main mediums that got children to learn. However its effectiveness is slowly diminishing and new technology is rapidly taking over, whilst traditional story telling methods are passive and un-engaging. To tackle this, the story telling should be engaging and innovating without losing its tradition.

Concept:
The idea is making storytelling sessions more appealing and interactive whilst retaining some of the traditional charm of storytelling. Stimulating children’s minds and getting them to craft, socialise and build confidence alongside their parents.

Solution:
Create an illustrative book with a simple find a missing words questionnaires and a character that can be built in a minute. Choosing and existing book with typical animals characters is a perfect example. Each characters act as a visual prompts, integrating the concept of origami template with simple instruction will help them to built a character alongside with their parents.
